My body of work for the semester was based on creating a series of ceramic trees. I wanted my trees to represent the seasons. Each tree was handbuilt with clay and painted with acrylics. I also added wire to my pieces to show movement. My tree series represents a movment and connection of time and nature that passes by us everyday while we move long in our busy lives.

My body of work is created from a study of natural and organic shapes. I incorporated negative spaces in some pieces to add to the overall design. My entire body of work is built from coils which enhance the overall movement of my work. The color scheme is made with a white base and accented with turquoise, celadon, and a speckled turquoise blue to represent a calm, cool reflective series of work.
