Design I is an introductory course composed of first-year college material designed for the high school level. Students will learn all of the basics of creating quality art and thinking creatively. Students will criticize and aesthetically respond to visual art from traditional to contemporary. The course is designed to introduce the student to basic design concepts and the experience or looking at art on a critical level.
